so I`ve gave bought it off him for too much! more as a favour than anything else. The price is pretty firm on this, as I`ve got very little in it. I will take a Px or swap but at trade prices, if you want retail money then look elsewhere, or give it a go selling yourself...it`s not easy.This is the sports spec and can`t see anything it doesn`t have except for nav, which in my opinion looks great but they are not very practical. A Tom Tom is much easier to use! It has black suede seats, Auto adaptive xenon headlights, start button, keyless entry/drive which works as it should, electric memory seats, Electric steering wheel, heated front seats, all electric windows, mirrors, climate control, in dash 6cd changer, premium quality sound system, cruise control, on board computer, multi function steering wheel, Bluetooth phone, front and rear parking sensors. It is fully loaded, it probablys has things that I have not seen yetFirst registered on 13/10/2006, currently coming off a private plate so will revert back to a 56. Mot is until November 2012, and road tax is the end of may 2012. Current mileage is 110kThere is full Lexus main dealer service history with the car, only looked after by Lexus Teesside and then Lexus newcastle. The last service was a 110k service at 106423 miles on 20/05/11. When the car was in the technician discovered that the header tank was pressurising, Lexus rang and said that they would do all the work for free! I can`t see a receipt for the work, so I will be calling Lexus tomorrow to find out exactly what was done. My friend was told that the cost of this work was circa £2k. Obviously the car runs/drives superb, no issues at all, it`s very tight no knocks rattles etc...i can give the car reg to any serious buyer so they can call Lexus themselves to verify this work, and service history.When my friend bought this car 2 years ago, I went with him to look at it, and my advice was not to buy it! The vsc light was on the dash board, wheels were corroded badly. Anyway he ignored me and bought it anyway!! He took it to Lexus Newcastle to see what the light on the dash was, and turned out the diesel particulate filter was knakered. £1494.63 later everything was as it should be. I bought this car as a new run about in the interim of finding the perfect car and have now decided to go turbo diesel for work reasons ... This car is outstanding, it really is one of the good LEXUS IS200`s out there ! The car is what appears to be a rare British racing or similar green which really looks nice and different. The car has been polished recently as you can tell when it rains ;oD and looks very nice indeed for the year 2000. It has the Lexus 2.0 straight six engine with only approximately 115 thousand miles on the clock and runs sweet. Many other Lexus`s on Ebay have 130-150k plus. (mileage to increase, used daily) Due to the straight six it sounds amazing and pulls well. This car has what appears to be a full service history and was serviced recently. The previous owner commented that the exhaust has recently been changed within the last 6 months. The car is MOT`d, Taxed and ready to drive. The interior is a black half leather interior with electrically operated seat adjustment and no rips or tares, front heated seats and other usual Lexus refinements including traction control, winter mode mode and a large boot. Good working Kenwood CD player installed. Dont forget, it has an electric tilt or slide sunroof meaning the interior is nice and light. (all working as it should) Automatic heating / climate control, electrically folding door mirrors, electric windows, and three car keys ... Back to the outside ... The car has green Lexus brake callipers, Snow tyres (the fronts recently changed) and the addition of a sports grill. The car has Xenon headlights which were added by a previous owner and illuminate the road well. Again, the alloy wheels are in relatively good condition for the year 2000. owned it for a number of years. It has served us very well over the time but due to a new company car its time to part company but we will be sad to see it go.This is the top spec model, UK supplied so includes: Full cream leather, Wood dash and steering wheel, Factory fitted Sat Nav, Climate control, Electric heated seats, 6 CD auto changer, Cruise control, Electric windows all round 17" Alloy wheels and sun reflecting glass for passengers and boot.Its finished in silver over grey metallic paint.There`s is full Lexus service history to 60k bills and receipts there after, all old MOT`s and had an oil service and Cam Belt change 6 months ago and rear brake pads were also replaced.The car is in good order for the age and mileage (122k) aside of some stone chipping to the front there are a couple of points to mention. There is a dent in the front passenger door (shown in the picture) it was there when we purchased the car and have never got round to repairing, minor scuffing to the n/s/f corner (shown in picture) it has been touched in but its there! and the n/s/r mud guard is scuffed and has an additional screw securing a 50p size piece of plastic that is damaged.The dent in the door is the worst part and i would expect a sensible body shop to charge in the region of £150-200 to repair, the other bits are minor damage and could easily be repaired by a smart repairer for not very much, but they are present on the car and want to give an honest appraisal, its only fair!The front tyres are of average wear still with plenty of miles in them but the rears are getting low and the o/s/r outer edge is starting to look a bit smooth! So rear tyres would need replacing soon.The Leather is a bit worn on the edge of the drivers seat from getting in and out but is not ruined and would all come up well with a leather treatment.Has 2 keys although the battery has gone in one.The personal plate WILL NOT be sold with the car and will be removed. (7 stamps), and all the old MOTs. We have owned it for nearly 2 years, the previous owner owned it from new. The car passed its mot earlier this month (no advisories), and was serviced last week, so should provide very cheap motoring for a long time. The car is absolutely superb inside and out, and has been 100% reliable (as have all 4 Lexus we have owned). The exterior is finished in a light silver blue colour, which really suits the car, and is set off by its 18 inch wheels. The tyres are all good. There are no noticeable marks or scuffs anywhere on the outside. The interior is again immaculate, and has lovely soft leather heated seats, and all the toys you would expect in a Lexus, including indash 6 cd changer, multiple speakers, climate control, cruise control, power fold mirrors, auto lights and wipers, auto dimming mirrors,and reversing camera.The rear seat slides back and forward to increase legroom or boot space. The six cylinder 3 litre engine provides plenty of power, and is driven by a smooth 5 speed auto gearbox, with fully automatic or manual gear changes. We have been surprised how economical it is for such a large car, sometimes returning over 30mpg, but averages out at about 25mpg in the hilly Cornish countryside, where we live. I know a lot of people are converting these cars to run on LPG, which costs 73p per litre, to reduce running costs, but we have not done so, as we only do a low mileage. Interestingly, we had a BMW X5 Diesel, before the Lexus, and that was only slightly more economical, and was nowhere near as nice to drive or as reliable.
